
Interior
You can choose between a two-row, five-passenger configuration or a three-row, seven-passenger layout. Either way, the interior is spacious and comfortable, with 6-way power adjustable driver's seat, 4-way power adjustable lumbar support, 60/40 Tilt ‘N Slide second-row reclining seats, available heated front seats and steering wheel, and 50/50 fold-flat reclining third-row seats. It also has available sunroof, universal garage door opener, and dual-zone or tri-zone temperature control.The Journey’s smart storage system, you’ll always have a place for your equipment, whether you need to store baby toys or camping equipment. There’s cargo space under the floor for when you need to keep things out of sight, an in-floor cooler for long road trips or tailgating, and in-seat storage for your valuables. All told, the Journey has 67 cubic feet of storage space, making it the perfect car for families or those with a lot of athletic equipment.
Features
The Journey comes in five trim levels – the SE, SXT, Crossroad, Crossroad Plus, and GT. Talk to your McGovern CJDR representative about those that matter most to you to get the best fit. The base model has Uconnect infotainment with 4.3-inch touchscreen display, push-button start, USB and auxiliary input, and 5-speaker sound system. You also have the option to add premium UConnect with 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, Sirius XM Radio, CD/DVD player, voice command, Bluetooth connectivity and Streaming Audio, traffic, weather, and turn-by-turn directions. Premium audio includes a subwoofer and 368-watt amplifier.
The 2017 Journey also comes available with a number of feature packages. The Blacktop and Chrome Appearance packages include styling such as gloss black and chrome accents, respectively. The Driver Convenience Group includes navigation, garage door opener, and Park Assist. Engine
You have two engine options with the 2017 Journey. The base is a 2.4-liter inline-4 mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission, making 173 horsepower and 166 lb-ft of torque. This option gets 19 MPG city and 25 MPG highway.
Available on most models and standard on the GT is a 3.6-liter V6 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, making 283 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. This is the only all-wheel-drive option, and it gets up to 25 MPG.
