The 2019 Dodge Charger has five trim levels and four different powertrains available. The muscle behind the base model includes a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine coupled with an eight-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive that kicks out 292-hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. If you want more power, you can opt for the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with 370-hp, the 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 which pumps out 485-hp, or the 707-hp SRT® Hellcat 6.2-liter HEMI® supercharged V8 engine with a top speed of 204 mph. The 2019 Charger has available options which include all-wheel drive, paddle shifters, high-performance suspension, four- and six-piston Brembo brake systems, Bilstein® front and rear shocks, and fourteen different wheel designs.


A Uconnect® 4 infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, Bluetooth® with voice command, SiriusXM® satellite radio, Keyless Enter ‘n Go™, and a 6-speaker audio system come standard. An upgraded Uconnect® 4C with an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, HD Radio™, SiriusXM® Traffic Plus, premium navigation, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, remote vehicle start, and the choice of a 506-watt premium Alpine® surround sound audio system with 9-speakers or a 19-speaker Harman Kardon® audio system, are available.


The Charger comes stacked with standard safety technology features including all-speed traction, electronic roll mitigation, electronic stability control, ParkView® rear back up camera, ParkSense® rear park assist system, and an advanced airbag system. Adaptive cruise control, advanced brake assist, full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, Lanesense® lane departure warning with lane keep assist, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection safety technologies are optional. The 2019 Charger earned a 5-Star Overall Safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
