A standard eight-speed automatic transmission gets coupled with three different powertrains. The base engine is designed with a 295-hp 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6. The more powerful options are a 360-hp 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with a towing capacity of 7,400 pounds and a 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 that churns out 475-hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The standard powertrain with rear-wheel-drive earns an estimated 26 mpg on the highway and 19 mpg in the city. All-wheel drive, Brembo six-piston high-performance brakes, Bilstein® high-performance suspension, and track, sport, custom, auto, snow, and tow driving modes are optional.

Comfort and Convenience

The new Dodge Durango offers up to 84.5 cubic feet of cargo space and fifty different seating configurations. The Durango comes standard with two rows of seating for five, a fold-flat front passenger seat, a 60/40 split-folding second-row reclining bench seat, and the option for fold and tumble second-row captain’s chairs. You can also opt for the 50/50 split-folding third-row seat to accommodate up to seven passengers. A leather-trimmed interior, heated and ventilated driver and front passenger seats, heated second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, three-zone automatic temperature control, a Stow ‘n Place® roof rack system, and a power rear liftgate are available.

The upgraded Uconnect® 4C NAV system, a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen, navigation, HD Radio™, SiriusXM® satellite radio, SiriusXM® Traffic™, SiriusXM Guardian™ for remote access to your Durango, Wi-Fi hotspot, a nineteen-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system, and a 9.0-inch high-definition dual-screen Blu-ray™ entertainment system are optional.
