Sneak Peek: 2020 Jeep Gladiator

The only open-air pickup truck in the industry, the all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator, is scheduled for release in April 2019. Every new Gladiator will include the legendary Jeep® 4X4 capability to take you on adventures. The 2020 Gladiator is using the Wrangler as its foundation but will add 31 inches to its length and over 19 inches to the wheelbase and includes a five-foot bed with an easy-to-lower three-position tailgate. The Gladiator will be available in the Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon trims and equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission that will pump out 285-hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque. With a towing capacity of up to 7,650 pounds and a payload of 1,600 pounds, the new Gladiator possesses the Best-in-Class title for each accomplishment. FOX shocks, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and 115-volt power outlet are optional.

Features and Technology

The Gladiator provides choices for how you want to experience the outdoors such as a three-piece Freedom Top® hard top, zipperless Sunrider® soft top, folding windshield, and removable doors. The available Uconnect® 4C NAV system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen will be compatible with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto and the industry-exclusive removable Bluetooth™ wireless speaker. You can off-road in style with the optional leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, and heated steering wheel.


Available safety features will include blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and an industry-exclusive forward-facing TrailCam off-road camera that will help display off-road obstacles.
