Design

The new Jeep Gladiator is a five-passenger midsize truck presented in Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon trims. Each model utilizes removable lightweight aluminum doors, a removable fold-down windshield, a 5-foot truck bed with integrated tie-downs, and a three-position tailgate. The truck bed can be customized by adding an available spray-in bed liner, a 115-volt/400-watt power outlet, the Trail Rail™ adjustable tie-down cargo management system, or a roll-up tonneau bed cover. The Gladiator comes with a zipperless Sunrider® soft-top, or you can opt for the removable Freedom Top® hardtop.

Performance

All of the Gladiator models get their power from a 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine teamed with a six-speed manual transmission and a Command-Trac® part-time 4WD system. The 4:1 Rock-Trac® heavy-duty part-time 4WD system and an eight-speed automatic transmission are optional. When properly equipped, the Gladiator can manage a best-in-class payload up to 1,600 pounds and has a class-leading towing capacity of 7,650 pounds.

Technology

Standard user-friendly technology comes in the form of the Uconnect® 3 infotainment system with a 5.0-inch touchscreen display, voice command, Bluetooth®, an eight-speaker sound system, a USB port, and Keyless Go™. You can choose to upgrade to the Uconnect® 4 or Uconnect® 4C NAV system which works with a 7.0-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen display respectively. Also, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility, HD Radio™, navigation, an Alpine® premium audio system with nine-speakers, an industry-exclusive wireless Bluetooth® speaker, and an industry-exclusive forward-facing TrailCam off-road camera that helps you become aware of off-road obstacles are available.
