Performance

The 2018 Durango comes in five trims: SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, and the all-new SRT. The base powertrain is a 3.6-liter V6 engine with either single or dual exhaust, churning out up to 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The base model is standard with rear-wheel drive and optional with all-wheel drive.

The next level up is a 5.7-liter V8 engine that makes 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque, with standard AWD and a towing capacity of 7,400 pounds. The new SRT model has a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that makes 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, with an 8,600-pound towing capacity – the best in its class. All engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Features

The 2018 Durango comes equipped with standard Uconnect 5.0 infotainment system, 6-speaker audio system, and two 12-volt outlets. You can also upgrade your entertainment experience by adding Sirius XM Satellite Radio, Traffic, and Travel Link, as well as Alpine or BeatsAudio premium sound systems, and navigation. The Premium Group adds a Navigation system, power liftgate, black roof rails, power sunroof, and BeatsAudio Premium Sound System.

Upgrade to the Blu-ray/DVD Rear Entertainment System, which includes dual seatback-mounted screens and ports for video games and mobile devices, and this will provide your family maximum comfort and entertainment for long family trips.

Safety

The Durango features standard Active Head Restraints, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Keyless Enter ‘N Go, and Rain Brake Support. The Dodge SUV also comes available with Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear Cross-Path Detection, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, LaneSense Lane Departure Warning, parking assistance, and a rearview camera.
