Towing and Utility

The new Ram 2500 comes in a variety of trims and configurations. From the most basic to the most deluxe, trims include the Tradesman, SLT, Big Horn, Power Wagon, Laramie, Laramie Longhorn, and Limited. Depending on the trim and cab you choose (more on cabs below), you can opt for either a 6’ 4” box or an 8’ box.

Lower trims come standard with a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, making 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Models with this powertrain can tow up to 11,390 pounds and have a maximum payload of 3,050 pounds.

Upper trims are equipped with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 with Multi-Displacement System and 6-speed automatic, making 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Fully equipped, this powertrain lets you tow up to 16,480 pounds and has a maximum payload of 3,990 pounds.

The 2018 Ram 2500 is also available with a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel, making 350 to 385 horsepower and 660 to 930 lb-ft of torque. Diesel models can tow up to 17,980 pounds and have a payload capacity of 3,160 pounds.

Entertainment and Tech

The Ram 2500 Tradesman comes with Uconnect 3.0 with AM/FM radio, a six-speaker sound system, 12-volt outlet, and the option for Bluetooth, integrated voice command, 5-inch audio display, CD player, and a multi-function Media Hub. Upper trims are available with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Sirius XM Radio, USB and auxiliary input, premium audio with subwoofer, and the Uconnect 4C NAV system with 8.4-inch display and integrated navigation.

Driver assistance technology can make maneuvering in your new Ram 2500 feel effortless. Available features include the ParkSense Front and Rear Park Assist and the ParkView Rear Back-Up Camera. Additionally, you can opt for a Cargo-View Camera, Electronic Trailer Brake Controller, Remote Keyless Enter ‘n Go, Remote Start, and Remote Keyless Entry with AllSecure.

Comfort and Convenience

This heavy-duty Ram truck comes with three cab configurations: Regular, Crew, and Mega Cab. Regular cabs, available only on Tradesman and SLT trims, seat three passengers on a 40/20/40 bench. Crew and Mega Cab models seat five passengers when you choose front bucket seats, or six when you opt for a front-row bench.

Available interior features include heated and ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, power-adjustable seating and pedals, power sunroof, leather seating, a heated steering wheel.
